A Note From Our Founder
I am an adventurer and techie with over 13 years of experience in software sales and development, 8 years of in group travel, and a lifetime of experience leading teams. I have led student government boards, sorority committees, church committees, and software teams which has consistently and successful executed projects, programs, events, proposals, and contracts. Since my teenage years, I have spent a lot of time visiting and exploring the countries and cultures of the African Diaspora whether abroad or at home. Since 2011, I have been planning group volutourist vacations for family and friends and during that time I have established connections with civic leaders, service providers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders and professionals in the US, Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Ghana. It's Deeper Than Travel will capitalize on these connections as these are popular destinations amongst Pan African travelers.
